John Danford, the CEO and owner of Serengeti Wildlife Safaris, was born and raised in Tanzania (Singida). He attended a tourism college (MWEKA WILDLIFE) after finishing secondary school, where he developed a passion for Africa and Tanzanian wildlife. John Danford began his career as a guide and conquered Mount Kilimanjaro for 10 years, reaching the summit 99 times before specializing in operations. He oversees Serengeti Wildlife Safaris' logistics and will work in the background to make sure your safari or climb is professionally arranged.
